The Bobtail & Bearded Collie Club is celebrating 10 years

Dear members, friends,

The Bobtail & Bearded Collie Club is celebrating 10 years this year since the separation from the original club, which was together with the Border Collie, and the establishment of a new club only for our 2 breeds – the Bearded Collie and the Bobtail.
Therefore, we are organizing a celebration weekend with the Jubilee Special Show on September 26, 2026 and the Jubilee Club Show on September 27, 2026.
On this occasion, we have taken the liberty of inviting extremely respected and recognized judges for the Bearded Collie breed, long-time breeders, owners of the Potterdale kennel, husband and wife Janet and Michael Lewis from England. The Bobtail breed will be judged by recognized and very well-known international judges from Slovakia, Mrs. Soňa Heldová and Mr. Tibor Havelka.

On Saturday, September 26, 2026, an informal social evening with refreshments, pleasant music and cheerful entertainment will be held. We will publish more information about the evening by the end of July at the latest.
Accommodation. In nearby Veľký Meder there are many guesthouses where you can stay with your dog. For those who are not demanding, there is the possibility of sleeping in the cultural center (where the show is held), but you need to bring your own sleeping supplies (mat, sleeping bag …)

We cordially invite you to spend a pleasant weekend with us in Slovakia and in the beautiful village of Lipové, meet many lovers of our breeds and have your pets judged by prominent judges.
